Are you going to Chicago for the ISPNO? We are planning on going down for the family day and maybe a day before or after. It all depends on when Owen is having surgery. We won't know until the 19th of June. Cyndi (Owen's Mom)

We are thinking about going to ISPNO. It will depend on how Andrew is feeling. He has Week #33 on June 17th, which is inpatient with Doxyrubicin & Cyclophosphamide for 72 hours. This particular mix has hit him hard in the past, taking the full 3 weeks to rebound. We won't know for sure about ISPNO until the week of the conference.

Michelle -
I am friends with a family whose son was just diagnosed with a Rhabdoid tumor. I have tried to look up and understand the IRS-III protocol, but am confused. Is it high dose chemo? Is it 3 different drugs? I am trying to help the family research their options. Can you help me?
Thanks so much-
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,
I'd be happy to talk more about IRS-III, and I also have a PDF copy of the protocol. Please email me directly at mkees@umich.edu and I will give you the info. Mattea was also on this protocol and Tara Lesorgen is a great source of info. She is on this chat board.
