I am quite awestruck about writing this tonight...5 years ago today we were going about our lives in complete oblivion when an MRI (that we almost cancelled believing it was unnecessary)changed everything. Sean is sitting here tonight between my husband and I as proof of hope. Yes he is impacted and severely disabled, but right now, he is singsonging a bit...no words but happy notes of 'la la ga go'...he is so happy.
I have seen so many little souls succumb to Rhabdoid and often wonder why Sean has survived...I don't know the answer to that question or so many other questions I have. What I know is that we are proud to be his mom and dad and give him the best we can give - love and hope.
Please know that I feel the spirit of allthe Rhabdoid Angels tonight in Sean's joy. Even though he can't speak words to us, his laughter tells me that he is alive. I will never take that sound for granted.

Sean is living proof that this cancer is, somehow, conquerable! You keep singing Sean.
