Just thought I would let everyone know that Kaitlyn's stem cell harvest went well. They did 2 harvests, one on Thursday and one on Friday. They were only able to get 4.2 on Thursday and her doctor wanted atleast 5, she said there is better outcome. She will probably be doing the high dose chemo for round 6, which would put us at the end of November (just in time for the holiday's, oh joy). Kaitlyn was a little trooper for the whole procedure. She had to have another line put in on the top of her little leg, in only took about an hour for the doctor to get this in, and she thought it was going to be quick. I told her she was going to have trouble with it (I guess the parent doesn't know anything). The sedation they used was Profal (or something like that, I can't remember what it was). They started her out at 20%. She ended up at 125% by 8pm. Kaitlyn had been awake and fussy. (They had to keep her sedated over night due to the line, they didn't want her to move her leg). The little turkey, instead of sleeping like she should have been, she stayed awake and played for about 4 hours. The doctors and nurses couldn't figure it out. She should have been in a good sleep, but nope, not Kaitlyn.
Anyways just wanted to say thank you for all the advice and information everyone gave me. It really does help to get through things some times.

Once again I would like to thank Dave for all of his hard work to keep this site up and running, because it truly helps each and every one of us on a daily basis to help one another as well as ourselves. We couldnt do it without you Dave! Love you man!! Kudos where it is deserved! You keep us going.

I am glad that things went so well. We are thinking about you all. The whole sedation thing is crazy, Jazmine doesn't end up sleeping either.
