John and I would like to thank all of you for supporting us in the 2005 Ride for Kids Fund Raiser this past Sunday.
We surpassed our goal of $1000 and were the second highest online fund raiser of the Sacramento event.
Because of your generous donations we were able to raise $1,530 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation!
The total amount generated by the event has not yet been published, however we believe it was close to $300,000 for our ride alone.
The largest donation of the day was $27,000 made by a young couple who lost their baby to a brain tumor last year and the largest club donation was from the Redwood Riders who donated $37,000!
Until a cure is found, John and I plan to make this an annual event for our family. Thanks again for being among the first to help us in our efforts to honor JustinÆs memory and to help stop other families from losing their precious children to childhood brain tumors.
