I just talked with Lisa. Libby had an appointment yesterday at Children's and they feel that since her heart and lungs are still functioning strongly, she may be with us another 2-3 weeks.
They doubled the amount of steroids she is on and The IV's, like I mentioned this weekend are for pain medication and feeds which she receives every 2 hours

Lisa said that just by increasing the steroid level yesterday, Libby has more energy and was crawling this morning and also wanted to have Lisa help her walk a little bit. The Steroids are helping to relieve the pressure the tumor is causing so this is probably making her feel a little better too.

Libby also now has NJ tube which bypasses the stomach so Hospice is coming out this afternoon and will be trying to get some pedialite into her system. If she tolerates that for a few days, no vomiting, they will try to do 1/2 formula and water. Then after a few days if that is tolerated, they will try to switch her on to straight formula.

Lisa also said Libby has been up since 2 AM... For the day.. Ouch.
