Hello, everyone.
I wanted to update you again on the efforts of Team Will and Ride to Reach the Day. As you may or may not have heard already, we formed Team Will and Ride to Reach the Day in honor of William Leo Kiefer who died of a Rhabdoid Tumor in his brain on August 1st, 2004.
Our mission is to raise public awareness and funds to 'Reach the Day' when every child with cancer is guaranteed a cure. As part of this effort, we worked with CureSearch (www.curesearch.org) to have Governor Schwarzenegger proclaim this September Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in California. We are working to promote this further by holding an event in Sacramento, but would love it if anyone else touched by childhood cancer could also help us to promote awareness in CA and throughout the country in September.
