Sherry,
I am very new to this discussion board and need more info.
You said you were looking at the map and found the kids in arizona and florida. How can I see the map and the details of these two people?

If you hover the cursor over the Home link, a drop down list will appear.  Click on Family Location Map.  When trying to view the information on the kids marked there, you just click on the little animal marker for whichever child's information that you want to see.

You said that you are very new to the board.  Could I ask who your child is?  Is he or she up on the page?

Hi Brandy and Kenneth,

Thanks again for all of the work you are doing to keep the site moving forward and staying updated!

Is it possible to move the map from the "home" drop down to an actual tab on the top bar?  I don't know how hard this would be, but I think it might give the map more visibilty.

I personally think the map is a great tool to help families connect with people in their area and the institutions that serve/served our kiddos.

I am being presumptious here.....but maybe we could replace the "chat" with the "map".  Of course this is based on my assumption (which may be incorrect) that the chat feature doesn't get used and that space on the top bar is an issue.

Thanks again,
Kelly

I have moved the map up to the top bar.  I think this was a great idea too.  I placed chat on the drop down menu under "Home."  Because I also have not noticed that function really getting used.  If I am mistaken, please let me know everyone, and I will gladly replace "Chat" on the top menu bar.  I definitely don't want to make anything inconvienient for anyone.

Also, I think I have figured out how to have a calander on the site, as requested in a former post.  I am wondering what people on here think:  Should it be on the Home drop down menu, or on the top bar also?  If it works as I think it will, I should have that ready in the next couple of days.

Please let me know if there is anything else that I can do.

the map is great however we still are not able to read about the kids that are listed because some of them are blocked by others...

can that be fixed in any way?
