I'm sorry I haven't been around, it's really a busy time of year for me and this year's been worse than normal.
Michael is doing great!! His family just returned from a week in the Black Hills of South Dakota which they all enjoyed. It's hard to believe but I think he starts third grade this year. He's always going to have a few problems due to some of the things he's been through, like his hearing loss, but he's so special in many other ways. He plays well with others but he can be perfectly happy alone with his imagination. His favorite is playing soldier and he loves the color camo, but he has no problem sitting down and playing with a doll house. I give his big sister Anna a lot of credit for Michael turning out the way he has. She has always looked out for him and they are very close. Not to worry, Michael is very much his own man and has a mind of his own.
