Hi Sherri,
I am so glad that you are going to come to D.C. We actually saw Dr. Packer. He is a wonderful doctor. He really puts your mind at ease when you talk to him. He made us feel real good about our decision with Jazmine. We actually were told that our protocol was from Cleveland, and he agreed with it. But he is wonderful! Very informative. We were actually referred to him from a doctor in England. He has written quite a few papers on this tumor. Good Luck! I would really like to meet you, but we will be moving to a new house during the time that you will be in town. Ask lots of questions!!!! We try to see him at least once a year, so he can see Jazmine's progress. I am sure he remembers her, Jazmine Kershaw. It is a hard thing to go through, but have faith. My daughter was diagnosed in 2001 at 15 months and is about to celebrate her 5th birthday! Have faith!
Hope your visit goes well. Please keep us updated.
Thanks, Wendy Kershaw\
