Hi,
Could anyone give me suggestions as to how to get a newspaper to pick up the story of an ATRT patient? I would like the paper in Libby's home town to run a story and I have written a few emails to them, with no response.

sorry to put it so bluntly but thats what i had to do bug the heck out of the news station tell them that you just want to let ppl know what a devestating illness this can be and that ppl need to be more aware of it because it is so rare they need to get info on the syptoms out so some doctors are more aware \

I don't know if this will help but in our case we e-mailed journalist personally instead of to the newspaper as a whole. The newspaper listed their e-mail addresses so we just started e-mailing them until we someone was interested. Hope it works out for you.
